I'm terribly skittish about going to salons after a bad trip a few years ago, but after dying and frying my hair to practically nothing, I decided that it was time to see a stylist. I've been trying to keep whatever length I had, and it looked terrible. Finally! I asked to keep the length and they allowed me! Most of the time a stylist takes one look at my fried hair and wants to take it all off...this time I got to keep it! My hair looks healthy and happy and the split ends are gone!! I've already booked my next appointment!

My color went from drab to fab (please excuse the cliche) -- it took a few hours but my stylist was patient and knowledgeable and turned my at-home-hair-color disaster (multiple disasters, really -- it was as if my hair had been hit by an earthquake, a tornado, a hurricane, and Chernobyl all at the same time) into something soft and shiny AND! most importantly, it was all one color! In fact, my boyfriends first comment to me was "Yay! It's all the same color!" My hair was such a disaster that it took 4+ hours to fix it. It was absolutely worth it. I feel great now.
