Haircut & Blowout at Favrile @ Dej Salon

Was a little skeptic at first, but must say Favrile pulled it off. I originally went in for a trim and blow-dry, and ended up getting a full head of highlight as well. Very professional and extremely detailed. Very happy with the results, the cut was fantastic as well. Will be coming back...

My discounted haircut has tripled in price because I now have to pay someone else to fix it. It became very clear that there was a reason why a stylist who has been at the same salon for ten years would need to discount their services in the first place. I can't imagine that there's any repeat business going on here. I will say that I do not see my experience as a reflection of the salon itself, (other than the fact that they're renting to someone so unskilled) and I wouldn't dissuade someone for going to DEJ salon. However, I cannot recommend favrile.

There was a mistake on the promotion and when I arrived for my appointment, they informed me that I was NOT getting a blowout, just the extensions. I was pretty upset but went ahead and paid extra for the blowout. The salon was pretty and my stylist was very nice but it just seemed very disorganized, also she kept getting the brushes tangled in my hair, which has never happened to me before.

The the misprint was sad. I charged you $25 and did a technique were you leave the brushes in the hair with a little spay to give it shape and hold. Come on really!

Three Feather Extensions at Favrile @ Dej Salon

The process was quick, and Favrile had a great selection of colors! She also offered to let me come back if any of the feathers fell out. Two of the three did, but it's nice to know I can call and get it fixed no problem. The salon looked really nice too!
